National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork - NCBTMB
Recertification Reference Guide version 08.1 |
| |
■ |
The criterion by which the NCBTMB determines a course to be continuing education in scope is that it covers material not usually taught in the 500-hour core curriculum that is covered by the National Certification Exams administered by the NCBMB. - page 6 |
| |
■ |
Although we encourage you to use NCBTMB Approved Providers for your continuing education recertification hours, we understand that you may desire to take coursework from non-Approved Providers (formerly called Category B courses). - page 10 |
| |
■ |
Courses from non-Approved Providers (formerly Category B courses) will be honored at a 1:1 ratio, for Certificates with an expiration date up to 12/31/2012. Beginning January 1, 2013, all non-Approved Provider courses that meet NCMTMB criteria will be honored at a 2:1 ratio for recertifying Certificates. - page 10 |
